Learn how to solve complex patient problems with the art of Somatic Coaching

WELCOME TO SOMATIC PELVIC ARTS

Pelvic Care with Soul

Hi! We are so glad you are here. We know how it feels to be burnt out and fed up with providing outdated pelvic care. We are providers just like you, who early on recognized the need for more and better tools to help our patients heal.

Somatic Pelvic Care was created to help medical professionals like you deepen your practice by giving you the permission and skills you need to provide more meaningful pelvic care.

In our 6-month program we teach somatic coaching skills, mindfulness practices, and creative hands-on techniques that build more trust between the patient and provider, honor our intuitive healing wisdom, elevate patient agency and accountability, and create long-lasting healing partnerships.

Somatic Pelvic Care, our medical and magical model, is a sustainable and rewarding practice that expands pelvic treatment beyond the limitations of traditional western medicine. This is a new type of pelvic care that is improving patient outcomes, changing our relationship with our work, and creating a healthcare movement in service to the feminine way of doing things.

We are excited to build this movement with you.

Listen to our podcast

On the Pelvic PT's Gone Wild podcast, we shake up things up and get a little WILD!

Way more than talking about kegels and peeing your pants, in the Pelvic PTs Gone Wild podcast, Dr. Tara Morrison and Dr. Ryan Simmons conspire to present the deep well of vitality that's available to them and their patients when they think outside of the box and dive deeper into what it means to really heal.

From woo to taboo, somatics to sex, in this podcast they talk about what others are afraid to:

Pelvic PTs are restrained by our education, stuck in a box, watching other professions elevate around us, and getting paid peanuts. They know that many many Pelvic PTs want more and can do better, but are just a leeetle bit scared to do so.

Their mission is to inspire us all to remember, that our work goes far beyond therapeutic exercise, sifting through scanty evidence, and treating symptoms

Pelvic healing is a profoundly intuitive and creative act.

The Somatic Pelvic Arts Mentorship Program

Beginning January 2025

Trauma lives in the tissues, not just the charts. True pelvic healing requires meeting what cannot be measured. It asks us to witness the stored stories, the unspoken pain, and the primal wisdom that lives within the body.

When you bring somatic tools and nervous system attunement into your work, everything changes. Patients stop outsourcing their healing. You stop carrying it all alone. Together, you create real transformation.

This is the path of the Embodied Healer.

About us

Dr. Ryan Simmons, Guardian of the Pelvic Universe believes that Pelvic Work is Soul Work. She has 20 years of patient experience and specializes in women’s health and pelvic care. She has spent the last 7 years with her husband and 2 children in the jungle of Mexico, working outside of the western medical system and fully embodying the medicine woman inside of her. Inspired by the lives of her patients, women struggling for decades to get the care they deserve, she practices a holistic model of pelvic physical therapy; one that blends the foundations of the physical and biological sciences with ceremony and ritual, spirit and soul. She loves helping women heal through birth, sex, death, and everything in between.

Dr. Tara Morrison is a mother, wife, medicine woman, and creatrix of Sacred Bloom Pelvic Care. She has devoted her 14 year career to exploring the mind-body connection and how it relates to whole woman health, recognizing that most women's health conditions and physical challenges have an unseen emotional or energetic root cause. After her own initiation into motherhood, she followed the call to start her own business, Inner Rhythm Wellness to midwife women through the rite of passage that is birth, postpartum, and mothering. She is passionate about serving women struggling with pelvic floor challenges so they can feel empowered in their birth experience, feel connected and confident in their bodies postpartum, and reignite intimacy both in and out the bedroom.
